GREEK NATIONAL OPERA 3rd SACRED MUSIC FESTIVAL 2025

Participating in the 2025 Sacred Music Festival, the Greek National Opera presents the opera for children "Noye's Fludde", by the English composer Benjamin Britten.

The work, completed in December 1957 and first performed during the 1958 Aldeburgh Festival, is Britten's most extended and elaborate work for children, which explores a wide palette of sounds combining, classical instruments along with home-made instruments as sandpaper blocks and slung mugs!

With the participation of the GNO Children's Chorus, a 10-member ensemble of adult musicians and a youth orchestra consisting of the Underground Kids Orchestra, members of the Underground Youth Orchestra, the El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra and young musicians.
