A two days tribute to the composer Mauricio Kagel will take place in various public spaces and the Upper Stage of the House of Arts and Letters of the Onassis Foundation.
Mauricio Kagel is probably the composer who contributed more than any other composer to the conception and formulation of the New Music Theatre.
Singers, musicians, actors and technicians will stage a specially prepared amalgam of representative works spanning Kagel’s entire career. Everyone will have the possibility of moving around freely and watch the event of preference. A selection of the artist’s most characteristic films will be screened in parallel, while both days will end with a concert of his work on the Upper Stage.
The Publisher UNIVERSAL EDITION AG, who is represented in Greece by THE ARTBASSADOR, has supplied all the music and audiovisual material for the needs of the Tribute.
