The caustic satire of the famous Austrian cabaretist Georg Kreisler “Tonight: Lola Blau”, was successfully presented in Patras, Thessaloniki and Athens. Michael Seibel was the director and the translation was entrusted to Koralia Sotiriadou and Katerina Giamali. Mrs Giamali performed the role of Lola Blau.
This is the story of a young Jewish actress who departed from Vienna on 1938 and after a long trip, trying to realize her dream of becoming a great star, she finally discovered that people never really change.It is a tender and at the same time tough story which is presented through 20 cabaret songs, sometimes humorous and sometimes tragic.
The work was first presented on 17th October 1971, in the Little Theatre of Josefstadt in Vienna.
