21 January 2024 TΗΕ CITY OF ATHENS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA & CHORUS AT THE ATHENS OLYMPIA MUSIC THEATER "MARIA CALLAS"
The City of Athens Culture, Sports & Youth Organisation, OPANDA, in collaboration with the City of Athens Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, present a marvelous Opera gala, dedicated to the great "Italian composers in Paris".
Under the music direction of the internationally renowned conductor Alessandro Bonato, accompanied by some of the world’s leading singers, including Catherine Hunold, soprano, Dmitry Korchak, tenor and Riccardo Fassi, bass, the Orchestra will perform wonderful arias and ensembles from operas by Spontini, Cherubini, Rossini, Donizetti and Verdi.
THE ARTBASSADOR provided the Orchestra with the music material of Luigi Cherubini's work, "Ali Baba, Ou les Quarante voleurs", on behalf of the Publishing House, Bärenreiter Verlag - Alkor Edition.
