Volker Ludwig is the founder of Berlin’s historic Grips Theatre (1969), where his play “Mannomann” had its world premiere in 1972. He wrote over 40 plays for children and reenagers, many of which have been translated into over 30 languages and performed in 50 countries and he is widely considered the founder of modern children’s theatre.
