“The Kiss” from the the Athens Municipality Symphony Orchestra
Luigi Arditi's "Il Bacio" at Pallas Theater
The work “Il Bacio” for soprano and orchestra, one of the most famous works of the Italian musician and composer Luigi Arditi, will be presented, among others, at Pallas Theatre/Athens City Link, by the Athens Municipality Symphony Orchestra, in their concert of 21 December 2015.The Orchestra will be conducted by Maestro Michael Economou.
The composer wrote numerous songs and vocal waltzes. Among his most popular is "Il Bacio" ("The Kiss"), dedicated to the Italian soprano Marietta Piccolomini, to a text specially written by baritone Gottardo Aldighieri)
