G. DOUSIS, S. PROΚOFIEV & D. SHOSTAKOVICH WORKS

The Athens Municipality Symphony Orchestra in collaboration with the the Athens’ Culture - Sports and Youth Organization (OPANDA), presents a unique concert with notable works by Dmitri Shostakovich and Sergei Prokofiev, along with the world premiere of the "Concerto for piano and orchestra" by George Dousis, one of the most active Greek composers.

Under the music direction of the conductor Andreas Tselikas, the Orchestra and the piano soloist George Konstantinou, will present the folowing works:

                                                           -Festive Overture op 96, by Dmitri Shostakovich
                                                           -Concerto for piano and Orchestra, by George Dousis
                                                           -Symphony No. 5 in b flat op. 100, by Sergei Prokofiev

THE ARTBASSADOR provided the Orchestra with the music material of the work of Dmitri Shostakovich, Festive Overture op 96 and  Sergei Prokofiev's Symphony No. 5 in b flat op. 100, on behalf of the Publishing House BOOSEY & HAWKES UK.
