ATHENS PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA SUMMER CONCERT
13 July 2022 At Catholic Cathedral Basilica of St. Denis the Areopagite!
Celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of the great English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams (October 12, 1872), the Athens Philharmonia Orchestra in collaboration with the Midamerica Productions International N.Y, presents a unique program of symphonic and choral music, at the Catholic Cathedral Basilica of St. Denis the Areopagite.
Under the music direction of the distinguished condactors Scott Glysson, Gary Mabry και Peter Tiboris, the Orchestra, accompanied by four American and three Greek choirs, will present the following works:
- W.A. Mozart, Missa brevis
- Ralph Vaughan Williams, Dona nobis pacem
- W.A. Mozart, Ave verum corpus
- W.A. Mozart, Symphony no. 40
