MEET THE ORCHESTRA

The Athens Concert Hall welcomes Elementary and High School students in a unique concert.
Joyful and melancholic melodies, fast and slow pace, strong and soft sounds, small and big instruments, familiar and exotic rhythms, words and notes, humor and seriousness as well! With this magic formula, the works of Benjamin Britten “The young person’s guide to the Orchestra” and Gregory Smith’s “Mr. Smith’s composition”  initiate children and young audience into the world of symphonic music.

This unforgettable music journey is performed by the musicians of Athens State Orchestra, under the music direction of Athens Concert Hall’s artistic director, Miltos Logiadis and the distinguished baritone Tasis Christogiannis, in the role of narrator.
