ELEGY by Nick Payne

At Studio Mavromihali, since 1st February!

In order to cure a brain disease and save her life, Lorna has to undergo a surgery, which will cost her a serious part of her memories. But if she looses her memory, how will she keep her personal identity? This is a life-changing dilemma!

"Elegy", by the British playwright Nick Payne, had its world premiere at the Donmar Warehouse, London, in 2016, causing great sensation and earning a nomination for the 2017 Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Play.

Combining elements of science fiction and existential drama, this heartbreaking story raises a series of complex questions about scientific progress, human identity and the nature of love, loss and faith.
