OPENING CONCERT OF THE NATIONAL SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA OF NERIT

At the historic place of Pnika, on the occasion of the 40 years anniversary since the restauration of Democracy, on the 24th of July 2014, the opening concert of the Music Ensembles of the state Radio/TV NERIT was realised.
The Orchestra with conductor the prized Dimitris Botinis, performed works by great composers of the 20th century.
Among other works, Nikos Skalkottas’ dances Peloponisiakos 1, Epirotikos 1 and Epirotikos 2, Hostianos and Kleftikos were performed.
There was a live broadcast of the concert by NERIT Radio/TV.
The Artbassador provided the Music Ensembles of NERIT with the music material of Nikos Skalkottas’ dances, on behalf of the music publisher UNIVERSAL EDITION AG.
