Heroic Narrations

The famous German musician Frank Beermann returns to the podium - after his successful debut of the previous year, with the Athens State Orchestra – in order to present his personal music approach to a purely German program.

The highly demanding songs of Beethoven and Strauss are interpreted by the German soprano, Julia Bauer:

• Ludwig Van Beethoven
      Egmont Overture op. 84
      Symphony no. 3 in E flat major, op. 55 ‘’Eroica’’

• Richard Strauss
      Six Songs for Soprano and Orchestra, op. 68 (“Brentano” Lieder)
