The Greek National Opera opens the 2024-2025 season with an exceptional international co-production with the the Aix-en-Provence Festival and Opéra national de Paris.
The leading Russian director of our time Dmitri Tcherniakov will present two of the most significant operas of the classicism period, Iphigénie en Aulide and Iphigénie en Tauride, by Christoph Willibald Gluck. Under the music direction of Michael Hofstetter.
A remarkable, new production, with the great American soprano Corinne Winters and a cast of internationally acclaimed opera protagonists, acompanied by the Orchestra and Chorus of the Greek National Opera.
