Honouring its tradition to support remarkable young musicians, The Athens State Orchestra, in collaboration with the Athens Concert Hall, invites three promising young soloists to perform the following marvelous concertos, under the baton of Canadian maestro Charles Olivieri-Munroe.
Concerto for flute and strings in G major, QV 5:174, by Johann Joachim Quantz
Concerto for cello and orchestra no1 in A minor, op.33, by Camille Saint-Saëns
Concerto for piano and orchestra no.3 in C major, op. 26, by Sergei Prokofiev
The ARTBASSADOR, provided the Orchestra with the music material of the work of Sergei Prokofiev, Concerto for piano and orchestra no.3 in C major, op. 26, on behalf of the Publishing House BOOSEY & HAWKES UK.
