NINA by Steven Dietz
30 January 2017- 11 April 2017 Premiere in Greece, at the Black Box of Theatre 104!
For the first time in Greece, Nikos Paschidis directed and presented «The Nina Variations» by Steven Dietz translated by Xanthi Kranidi. Forty-three different variations of the unique last scene of “THE SEAGULL” by Anton Chekhov in one performance! Steven Dietz’s work “The Nina Variations” presents the two leading roles of GLAROS, Trepliev and Nina to be met again and again, in a circle of love phrenitis, trying to find a new way of communication.
The performances took place at the Βlack Box of Theatre 104, on Mondays and Tuesdays from 30 January 2017 to 11 April 2017.
Steven Dietz’s plays and adaptations have been widely produced worldwide and have won several prizes. “The Nina Variations” was born because of Steven’s passion for this specific scene of THE SEAGULL and the two characters.
THE ARTBASSADOR granted the license for the Greek production, on behalf of the playwright Steven Dietz and his Agent Agency for the Performing Arts.
