MAGIC NIGHT
13 July 2018 THE CHAMBER ORCHESTRA AND THE CHOIR OF THE MUNICIPAL ODEON OF PATRAS INTERPRETED MIKIS THEORDORAKIS’ MUSIC WORKS AT THE ANCIENT ODEON
The Ancient Odeon of Patras was filled with the sounds of the music works by Mikis Theodorakis, at a MAGICAL NIGHT on the 13th July with the Chamber Orchestra and the Choir of the Municipal Odeon of Patras.
Under the music direction of G. Mavridis and the soloists Iwona Glikka and Andreas Zafiropoulos, we enjoyed:
SINFONIETTA for solo flute, piano and string orchestra / Mikis Theodorakis
MAUTHAUSEN cantata for mezzosoprano and orchestra / Mikis Theodorakis
The Artbassador provided the Orchestra with the music material of the works, on behalf of the Publishing House SCHOTT Music GmbH / Germany.
