Zoltán Kodály's "Dances of Galanta" performed by the Athens State Orchestra

The distinguished French conductor Pascal Rophé, who is much admired for his interpretations of 20th-century repertoire, lead the Athens State Orchestra in a delightful programme which included an extremely well-known symphonic work by Hungarian composer Zoltán Kodály (1882-1967).

"Dances of Galanta" were performed on Friday July 5th at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. Zoltán Kodály's works are  published by Universal Edition that “The Artbassador” represents in greece and Cyprus.
