The world premiere of Luke Bedford’s new Faust inspired opera THROUGH HIS TEETH took place at the Linbury Studio Theatre of the Royal Opera House
The world premiere of Luke Bedford’s new Faust inspired opera THROUGH HIS TEETH, took place on 3 April at the Linbury Studio Theatre of the Royal Opera House.
The publisher UNIVERSAL EDITION has documented the work’s process of creation on their blog and the composer Luke Bedford is giving exclusive and unique insights into the creation of his new opera and the publisher also on his blog.
Mr. Bedford has collaborated with Scottish playwright David Harrower to write the piece based on the Faust legend.The opera tells the story of a woman seduced by a charismatic conman.
The Opera has been commissioned by The Royal Opera House.
