THE BIRTHDAY PARTY by Harold Pinter

Stanley Webber’s life at a rundown seaside boarding house is disrupted by the unexpected arrival of two mysterious and sinister strangers, who terrorise him and turn his  innocent-seeming birthday party into a nightmare.... 

The 2005 Nobel Prize winner, Harold Pinter was one of the most influential modern British dramatists. His masterpiece ''The Birthday Party'' (1957)  is considered one of the most important and representative works of the avant-garde. It is continuously performed in the global theatrical scene, as it describes his entire  worldview for the freedom and self-determination of the individual.
