RUSSIAN COMPOSERS

The Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, in collaboration with the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, present a unique concert, with famous works by great Russian composers.

Under the music directionn of the conductor Ektoras Tartanis, the talented pianist Anna Avramidou and the Orchestra will perform the following works:

-Dmitry Shostakovich: Festive Overture in A major, Op.96
-Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Concerto for piano and orchestra No.1 in B flat minor,   Op.23
                                                          -Sergei Prokofiev: ‘Romeo and Juliet’ Suite No.2, Op.64 

THE ARTBASSADOR provided the Orchestra with the music material of D.Shostakovich and S. Prokofiev works, on behalf of the Publishing House Boosey & Hawkes UK.
