CYPRUS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA – ΜΑΥ 2014
Concerts on 8, 9, 23 and 24 May with works by Arnold Schoenberg, Gyorgy Ligeti and Richard Strauss
The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra spring program includes the works:
- CHAMBER SYMPHONY NO 2, OP. 38 by Arnold Schoenberg
executed in two concerts on 8 and 9 May 2014 at the Rialto Theatre of Limassol and at the Pallas Theatre in Nicosia. The Orchestra’s conductor is MO Dimitris Botinis.
- CONCERTO FOR VIOLIN AND ORCHESTRA IN D MINOR OP. 8 του Richard Strauss
- CONCERT ROMANESC του Gyorgy Ligeti
executed in two concerts on 23 and 24 May 2014 at the Rialto Theatre of Limassol and at the Pallas Theatre in Nicosia. The Orchestra’s conductor is by MO Alkis Baltas.
The Artbassador provided the Orchestra with the music materials from the music publishers SCHOTT MUSIC, UNIVERSAL EDITION AG and G. SCHIRMER, INC.
