The Greek National Opera participates in the Handover Ceremony of the Olympic Flame
On 5th October 2013, the Greek National Opera participates in the Handover Ceremony of the Olympic Flame for the XXII SOCHI WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES at the Panathenaic Stadium.
The orchestra of the National Opera conducted by Elias Voudouris performs among other music works, five of the Greek Dances for large ensemble by Nikos Skalkottas.
The concert begins at 5 pm and admission is free.
The music material for the National Opera orchestra was provided by “Τhe Artbassador” on behalf of the music publisher Universal Edition.
