28 May 2022 ATHENS PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA & MUSICA - THE FRIENDS OF MUSIC CHOIR AT THE ATHENS CONCERT HALL
The Friends of Music Society welcomes once again the Athens Philharmonia Orchestra at Athens Concert Hall, in a great concert dedicated to the memory of Aris and Lilian Voudouri.
Under the music direction of Dimitris Bouzanis, the Orchestra, joining forces with Musica - The Friends of Music Choir, will present two totally different compositions: Antonio Vivaldi’s ever-delightful Four Seasons, along with the Panhellenic premiere of Welsh composer Carl Jenkins’s Stabat Mater, a fresh, revolutionary work, which combines classical harmony with ancient instruments and vocals from the Middle East.
THE ARTBASSADOR provided the Orchestra with the music material of the work of Carl Jenkins, "Stabat Mater", on behalf of the Publishing House BOOSEY & HAWKES.
