A TRIBUTE TO GREEK JEWISH MARTYRS AND HEROES OF THE HOLOCAUST

Honoring the National Remembrance Day of the Greek Jewish Martyrs and Heroes of the Holocaust, The Thessaloniki Concert Hall in collaboration with the Thessaloniki State Symphony Οrchestra presents a unique concert, a tribute to their memory. 

Under the music direction of the distinguished Israeli conductor Υoav Talmi, the Orchestra will present the following works:

-Tzvi Avni: Prayer (Tefillah) for string orchestra
                                                          -L. Bernstein: Halil, Nocturne for flute and chamber orchestra
-"Almas tyernas y puras" - Song for the victims of the Holocaust with lyrics by an unknown and music from the aria "Ombra mai fu" of the opera Xerxes by G.F. Handel
-J. Brahms: Symphony no.3 in F major, opus 90

THE ARTBASSADOR provided the Orchestra with the music material of the work "Halil" by L. Bernstein, on behalf of the Publishing house BOOSEY & HAWKES.
