COMMEMORATION CONCERT- 108 YEARS FROM THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE
26 April 2023 THE THESSALONIKI CITY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AT THE THESSALONIKI CONCERT HALL
On the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, The Thessaloniki Concert Hall in collaboration with the Thessaloniki City Symphony Orchestra presents a unique concert-tribute to the memory of the Armenian genocide victims.
Under the music direction of the conductor Nurhan Arman the Orchestra, accompanied by the soloists G. Georgiadis, violin, Narek Hakhnazaryan, cello, S.Dritsas, piano and the Soprano Syranous Tsalikian, will present excerpts from famous works by Ludwig van Beethoven and the Armenian composers, Magar Yegmalian, Αram Khachaturian and Edgar Hovhannisyan.
THE ARTBASSADOR provided the Orchestra with the music material of Αram Khachaturian's works Masquerade Suite and Gayane Suites 1 & 2, on behalf of the Publishing House BOOSEY & HAWKES UK.
