THESSALONIKI STATE ORCHESTRA CONCERTS
JANUARY – FEBRUARY 2015
The Thessaloniki State Orchestra presents:
o In the frame of their concert of 23 January 2015, dedicated to Polish Music, with the support of the Polish Embassy, at the ceremonies hall of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, among others, the neo-baroque CONCERTO FOR ORCHESTRA of the pioneer composer Witold Lutoslawski. The Orchestra is conducted by Μο Dariusz Mikulski. Violin soloist is Dimitris Karakantas.
o In the frame of their concert of 6 February 2015, at the ceremonies hall of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, dedicated to the 20th century composers who promoted their national music heritage, among others, for the first time in Greece, the important work VIATORE of the composer Peteris Vasks. The Orchestra is conducted by Μο Mihkel Kutson. Violin soloist is Andreas Papanikolaou.
