Concerts of the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens
DECEMBER 2014 - JANUARY – FEBRUARY 2015
The Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens presents:
o In the frame of their concert of 11 December 2014, at the Anna and Maria Kalouta venue, among others, the work CONCERTINO CLASSICO of the composer Joseph Horovitz. The Orchestra is conducted by Mo Andreas Tselikas.
o In the frame of their concert of 20 January 2015, at the Anna and Maria Kalouta venue, among others, the work DANSES CONCERTANTES of the composer Igor Stravinsky. The Orchestra is conducted by Mo Andreas Tselikas.
o In the frame of their concert of 4 February 2015 at the hall THEATRON of the Michael Cacoyiannis Foundation, the works DANZON NO 2 and CONGA DEL FUEGO of the composer Arturo Marquez, the work HUAPANGO FOR ORCHESTRA of the composer Jose Pablo Moncayo and the work BATUQUE finale from the opera MALAZARTE of the composer Oscar Lorenzo Fernandez. The Orchestra is conducted by Mo Eleftherios Kalkanis.
The Artbassador provided the Orchestra with the music material from the publishers CHESTER MUSIC, SCHOTT MUSIC and PEERMUSIC CLASSICAL.
