Les Choristes/Bruno Coulais

The Choir Performing Group of the Arsakeio Schools of Psychico in collaboration with Athens Youth Symphony presented at the central stage of the Onassis Cultural Centre the musical performance Les Choristes  (Les Choristes, 2004). The multi-awarded score and the songs of the namesake French film (by Bruno Coulais) were complemented by theatrical actions, narrative parts (texts by Evangelos Katsinavakis), and projections (Lukas Ziaras). The narrators were Dimitris Lignadis and Giannis Panagopoulos, whereas Dimitris Degaitis and Nikos Kardonis also took part. Under the artistic direction of Fokas Evangelinos and the musical direction of Petros Stylianos.

The moving story of an enlightened teacher that manages to influence decisively the futures of a group of boarding school students through the power of music.
