11 March 2022 ATHENS STATE ORCHESTRA AT THE ATHENS CONCERT HALL
The Athens State Orchestra, in collaboration with the Athens Concert Hall, welcomes springtime presenting a fascinating concert dedicated to three different musical eras. Under the music direction of the internationally renowned conductor Frank Berman, the Orchestra will present the folowing works:
- Concerto in E flat, “Dumbarton Oaks”, by Igor Stravinsky
- Symphony no. 3 in E flat major, opus 97, “of the Rhine” by Robert Schumann
- Concerto for horn and orchestra no. 2 in E flat major by Richard Strauss.
Horn Soloist, one of the world’s leading horn players, the German Stefan Dohr, principal horn of the great Berlin Philharmonic!
The ARTBASSADOR, provided the Orchestra with the music material of the work of Richard Strauss, ''Concerto for horn and orchestra no. 2 in E flat major", on behalf of the Publishing House BOOSEY & HAWKES UK.
