MATHIAS SPAHLINGER to receive this year’s GRAND ART PRIZE
MATHIAS SPAHLINGER will receive the year’s 2014“Grand Art Prize” from the Berlin Academy of Arts for lifetime achievement.
The composer Mathias Spahlinger will receive the year’s 2014“Grand Art Prize” from the Berlin Academy of Arts for lifetime achievement.
As per the jury’s statement, Spahlinger’s work combines artistic responsibility and socio-political consciousness in an outstanding way.
The prize will be presented in Berlin on March 18th 2014 by the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit and the President of the Academy of Arts, Klaus Staeck.
