"Stathmos" Theater presents “Plastilina” by Marta Buchaca
A play about violence based on a true story
Based on a true story, «PLASTILINA», the heartbreaking play of Catalan Marta Buchaca, explores a teenager’s mentality, as it is gradually formed among its friends and family. It presents the actions and reactions of this group of people and how their behavior generate anger, then rage and gradually lead to extremism and violence.
"PLASTILINA" is presented since 10.31.2015 in the renovated Theater “STATHMOS” in Metaxourgio / Athens, under the direction of Takis Tzamargias. Based on Maria Chatziemmanouil’s translation, the adaptation of Anna Andrianou and Yiannis Botsis has achieved to convey the issue of violence, giving food for thought and avoiding dogmatic criticism.
"The Artbassador" feels great joy, to have contributed to the realization of this project, by granting the license of Maria Chatziemmanouil’s translation to the theater.
