N. Kotsailidou
Nikoleta Kotsailidou was born in Thessaloniki. She holds Undergraduate Degrees in Informatics & Communications by the Technological Educational Institute of Central Macedonia and in Theatre Studies by the National Theatre of Greece Drama School (2008), and she is engaged in acting as well as and translating and adapting works for the professional theatre.
As an actress, she already has a brilliant career in theater as well as in cinema and television. She participated in several successful theatrical performances including: The Bacchae (Athens Festival, 2008), The Twilight of Men (National Theatre, 2007), Private Lives (2011), The Accidental Death of an Anarchist (2012-2013), Of Mice and Men (2018), Orestιs (Athens Festival 2021), 8 Women (2021) etc.
At the same time, the multi-talented creator marked with her performance many successful Greek TV series such as "Grandpa the liar" (Net 2008-2009), Karyotakis ( NET 2009), Fifty Fifty (Mega 2011), Heroines (Mega 2015), to name only a few. Currently she is starring in the smash hit TV series “Act Like You’re Asleep” (ERT 2023) which is nominated in 4 categories at the 2023 Seoul International Drama Awards!
As a translator, she boasts an uninterrupted presence at the theatrical scene, having translated many plays for the professional theater, including: “The Truth” by Florian Zeller, “Le Dîner de Cons” by Francis Veber, “Sexy Laundry” by Michele Riml, “Dead Poets Society” by Tom Schulman, “Shirley Valentine” by Willy Russell, “Venus in Fur” by Leopold von Sacher Masoch etc.
As a multitalented personality with many interests and skills, Nikoleta Kotsailidou has attended piano and dance lessons for many years, while simultaneously doing voice over, dubbing and book narration for the audiobook platform, Bookvoice.
